On a mission to provide specialized care to the community and promote senior participation in meaningful activities.
The Hands on NeuroRehab difference.
Established in 2021, Hands on NeuroRehab has strived to provide specialized home health occupational therapy services to Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, St. Pete, and surrounding areas. Our treating therapist is a certified hand therapist and is well-equipped to evaluate and treat various orthopedic and neurological conditions in the patient’s home. Services also include manual lymph drainage, LSVT-BIG, splinting, and prosthetic care for applicable patients. Specialized therapy is offered for neurological and neurodegenerative conditions using innovative technology and evidence-based techniques including manual therapy, mirror therapy, biofeedback devices, and muscle stimulators to address pain, paralysis, and spasticity. Fall prevention and wellness programs are available for seniors wanting to improve their safety and independence within their community. The skill provided at outpatient facilities can finally be delivered at home for an affordable price. At Hands on NeuroRehab we pride ourselves on providing clinical expertise and dependable care for all patients in the central Florida area.
Dr. Jessica Henry OTD, OTR/L CHT, COMT-UE, CNS, C-MLD
I graduated as a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2019. I am a Certified Hand Therapist and NeuroRehab Specialist. I have extensive experience treating:
Fractures, dislocations, ligament injuries, lacerations causing tendon and nerve injury, strokes, and various other orthopedic conditions affecting the elbow, shoulder, wrist, and hand.
Neurological, neurodegenerative, and stroke-related symptoms via exercise, modalities, activities, and adaptations.
We offer LSVT BIG and evidenced-based neurorehabilitation therapy for long-lasting outcomes.
MLD for post-surgical patients, clients with cancer, or chronic conditions.
Cognitive therapy for early onset dementia and TBI/Stroke.
I use a client-centered and hands-on approach to treating various injuries with current evidence to promote functional outcomes.
I practice occupational therapy in order to improve an individual's health, well-being, and happiness, but I really enjoy meeting new people and helping improve their lives. I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to build relationships with my patients, listen to them, and work with them.
